As the Executive Chef of Sawbelly Scratch Kitchen, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Since graduating from Connecticut Culinary Institute in 2006, this New England native has held a number of head chef and sous chef positions throughout the region and in NYC. Chris has served in a variety of kitchen leadership positions at some very well known restaurants including: One if by Land, Two if by Sea (Zagat rated, "Most romantic restaurant in NYC"); Executive Chef at Gabriel's near Lincoln Center; and Chef De Cuisine at Salvation Burger. Since returning to New Hampshire, Chris stepped in as Opening Chef at The Wilder gastro-pub in Portsmouth. Now Chris has come to Sawbelly Scratch Kitchen to showcase his styles and seasonal flavors. Chris loves working with local, small farms and producers to procure fresh, local ingredients.See our menu
